Sourcing quality garments at affordable prices is all part of the deal with Thurston. We source garments based on your needs from a variety of manufacturers such as Gildan, Hanes, American Apparel, Bella, Jerzees, Canvas, Royal Apparel, Fruit of the Loom, District Threads, Alstyle, Port Authority, Port and Company, Anvil and Alternative Apparel.
A word about Organic t-shirts; many US garment manufacturers these days are sourcing their fabrics from far-flung places, which uses precious resources to transport to the United States. We make an effort to source local garments, and take all of these factors into account when making recommendations to our customers.
We accept many different file formats, and are here to help you figure out how to deliver your artwork. If you have any questions about your artwork please contact us with your concerns.
Our top three preferred file formats are:
- Adobe Illustrator (*.ai)
- Encapsulated Post Script (*.eps)
- Portable Document Format (*.pdf)
When submitting the following file formats, we require 300dpi or more at your desired final print size:
- Tagged Image Format (*.tif)
- Adobe Photoshop (*.psd) - leave it in layers!
When possible, please leave the artwork in layers, outline or rasterize your fonts and indicate your desired pantone colors.
Microsoft Word, Publisher and PowerPoint files as well as Jpegs are generally not acceptable for quality reproduction work. Files that do not meet the above specifications may be subject to artwork charges.
Remember to create your art files in the same size as you intend them to be on your printed garment. If possible, we recommend designing the artwork at the final size rather than scaling it up.
